TOWN
The Town of Colonial Beach was incorporated in 1892 and is one of two incorporated towns in Westmoreland County, Virginia. The administration and government of the town is vested in a council composed of a mayor and six council members elected by the qualified voters of the town. These officials must also be citizens of the Town of Colonial Beach who are qualified to vote in Town elections.
The council appoints a Town Manager to manage the daily administrative affairs of the Town. In the absence of a Town Manager, The Mayor may perform the administrative duties. Other officers such as a Town Attorney, Chief of Police, Chief Financial Officer and a Town Clerk as well as board and committee members are appointed by the Council.
The Town Manager is Timothy Krawczel. He may be reached by e-mail using the "Contact Us" form on this web site. Select Town Manager from the drop down menu to direct your mail to his attention. The Town Manager may also be reached by telephone at (804) 224-7181.
Council Members are listed under the "Council" tab in the Government Information section.
