LABOR DAY 2009 -  MEMORIAL DAY 2010

July 5, 2010                 Collection will be normal except Monday's route, which will be picked up on Tuesday.

September 6, 2010      Collection will be normal except Monday's route, which will be picked up on Tuesday.

October 11, 2010         Collection will be normal except Monday's route, which will be picked up on Tuesday.

November 11, 2010     Collection will be normal except Thursday's route, which will be picked up on Friday.

Thanksgiving Week    Monday's & Tuesday's routes will be picked up on Monday; Wednesday's & Thursday's
                                   routes will be picked up on Tuesday; Friday's route will be picked up on Wednesday.

Christmas Week         Collection will be normal except Friday's route which will be picked up on Thursday.


December 31, 2010     Collection will be normal except Friday's route which will be picked up on Thursday.



IMPORTANT MESSAGES

Please note holiday pick up can change. If conditions or circumstances dictate a change we will post that change as soon as possible. If you have any questions please feel free to call the Public Works office to verify when your trash will be picked up. Phone number: 804-224-7260

When leaving a message after hours, or during periods of high call volume for the staff of the Public Works department, please be sure to leave a call back number. This helps us to follow-up with you regarding your request in a timely manner.

Yard debris must be either bagged or tied in bundles no longer than 4 feet in length, with branches no larger than 6 inches in diameter, and must weigh no more than 40 lbs. Please call the office to schedule a pick up at the number listed above.

Trash pick-up will start as early as 6:30 AM on all routes during periods of extreme heat. Please assist us by getting trash containers to the curb for the earlier pick-up during these times. Thank You!!
